Full disclosure, I’m not actually wearing this outfit today but I did wear it last week. It’s not that exciting but there are a couple small details worth talking about here. I’ve been wearing nothing but black blazers lately and decided to add a little flair to one of them by putting some gold studs on the lapels, a very easy DIY. And did you notice my Garage magazine gift in action? Can’t thank them enough for sending me this beauty.

My crown ring (worn layered with Lulu Frost Code ring) is a newly acquired item. When my dad found an old savings bond given to me by my late grandfather in 1989 I decided that I would cash it in and buy myself a ring as if it were a gift from him that I could treasure forever.

[blazer given to me from a friend (unknown brand), thrifted tank top, H&M jeans, Gap flats, Marc Jacobs watch, first knuckle ring via SassyBrown on Etsy, black dome ring a gift from my mom, Marc Jacobs laptop sleeve used as clutch, MAC “Lady Danger” lipstick, American Apparel “Poppy” nail polish]

How do I learn to walk in heels ? I have a fancy party I will be attending in a few days and wanted to wear a pair of cute wedge booties I bought but I've never worn heels in my life before.

since I sort of slacked on answering this question when it first came in, your event may have already happened so I hope it worked out well for you! my best answer is to do exactly what you’re doing/did - try wearing wedges first. wear them around your house for a bit to practice until you feel comfortable enough to wear out. strengthen up those ankles.
