Protect IP / SOPA - Internet Blackout Day
The “Firewall” music video about stopping SOPA that I posted a few weeks ago is a fun video about a very serious subject. Today being internet blackout day (if you haven’t noticed, Wikipedia, Reddit and other sites have shut down in protest and even your Tumblr has a pop-up message about SOPA upon login) it’s time to talk about it on a more serious note.
Please watch the video above that explains what Protect IP / SOPA would do to our internet if passed. After watching, you can send a letter to Congress urging them not to vote in favor of this bill just by entering your name, email and zip code here: http://www.fightforthefuture.org/pipa
The bill is scheduled for a test vote in the Senate on January 24th.
