IRM is french for MRI so supposedly this album and song are inspired by Gainsbourg’s frequent MRI trips after suffering a brain hemorrhage and I gotta say that you can totally tell. those intro beats are dead on like an MRI… except, you know, this is way more pleasant to listen to. brilliance.
