thrift shopping is sometimes hard because you have to try to see something for it’s potential rather than what it’s existing state is. a good example of that is the above skirt I scored earlier for a mere $7. it’s color reminded me of the skirt I posted earlier today seen on Jen Brill so I got it knowing that it would need some help. as you can see in the first photo it was maxi length and had a horrendously heinous sequin trim around the bottom. I lopped off about 2 feet with some scissors and added a quick hem. needless to say you can see how much improved it is.
while I was at the store I also got these two belts. first one is a color that reminds me of toothpaste and second is black croc. both seen in all their glory on the new blue skirt because, well, I was too lazy to change. der.
